PORTLAND, OR (BRAIN) — Online bike retailer Universal Cycles has donated $15,000 to the Northwest Trail Alliance for trail building in the Portland area.

NEW YORK, NY (BRAIN) — GPS giant Garmin Ltd. will be included in the Standard & Poor's 500 index starting Thursday, the company announced.

Garmin is traded on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker symbol GRMN. The company will replace Chicago printer RR Donnelley & Sons (Nasdaq: RRD) on the index.

The company said the will focus on bringing added brand awareness to BMC’s domestic mountain, road and triathlon bikes, as well as sponsored riders.
