Come test your mettle in the nation's hardest 100! The 5th Annual Durango MTB 100 will be returning on August 4th 2007. A $500 bonus prize will be awarded to the first person who can break the nine-hour mark on the 100 mile course. The course in 2007 will remain the same, taking riders to the most spectacular summits in the San Juan Mountains and pushing riders to their limits with the 18,000+ feet in elevation gain. The Durango MTB 100 offers a spectacular course that begins at the base of Durango Mountain Resort and climbs to a summit of 11,500 feet in elevation. Racers will be rewarded with the most beautiful views that the San Juan Mountains have to offer. With a course that will test their mental and physical limits. Riders can choose three courses; the 100 mile, the 100 kilometer course or the 50k course. So, pack up your gear and head to the Southwest for 100 miles of world class mountain biking.
