The goal of bringing retail education direct to dealers began in 2005 when the NBDA expanded it's long-time and highly demand Super Seminars held annually at the Interbike Expo into two major markets. In 2006 NBDA regional Super Seminars drew over 260 attendees from 150 companies where they presented industry research, market trends, retail best practices, advocacy ideas, employee retention and customer service to owners, managers and bike shop employees. For 2007 the NBDA continues this series in Chicago, Minneapolis, D.C., Seattle, Atlanta, and Dallas. Seminars are open to all bicycle retailers. Advance registration is required to attend any of the regional one-day sessions and is free of charge for NBDA members with nominal fees applicable for non-members. Industry suppliers and affiliates are also encouraged to participate and take advantage of exciting promotional opportunities.
