With the announcement of Eurobike's 2021 show dates, the 2021 calendar is starting to take shape, although there are still a few question marks. Here's the calendar of major trade events (and a few key consumer events):

Outerbike returns to Moab next October.

MOAB, Utah (BRAIN) — After having to cancel its 2020 events, organizers of the Outerbike bike demo series have announced a calendar of events for next year, starting in the third quarter. Outerbike also is releasing more details of the online bike-finder feature it originally announced in July.

NAHBS considering four cities for its next show, to be held in September 2021. Outerbike still plans fall events.

DALLAS (BRAIN) — Organizers of the North American Handmade Bicycle Show announced Friday that they were canceling the show, which had been scheduled for Dallas in August.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (BRAIN) — A group with a background organizing a paddlesports trade show has announced an outdoor industry trade show for next July that will include bike exhibitors and has been endorsed by the National Bicycle Dealers Association.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (BRAIN) — This community, which already has hosted an IMBA World Summit, Outerbike and other bike events, will be home to the new Innovation Cycles Festival in mid-September. "Think of it as Ted Talks for the e-bike industry," said event organizer Nat Ross.

GIRONA, Spain (BRAIN) — Organizers of Sea Otter Europe have announced that the third edition of the festival will be held May 31-June 2, 2019 — once again in Girona, Spain.

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — VeloSwap, the consumer bicycle swap and expo, expects to see over 5,000 cyclists browsing more than 300 vendor booths on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the National Western Complex in Denver.

LONGMONT, Colo. (BRAIN) — Watts Marketing has sold the RenoCross race — formerly CrossVegas — to the RENOCX group. Based in Reno, Nevada, RENOCX is led by Coby Rowe, race director of the USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championship that was held in January in Reno.
