Strider supports Special Olympics USA Games

Balance bike brand will introduce new models at the June event.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (BRAIN) — Balance bike brand Strider is supporting the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games, which are being held June 14-21 in New Jersey. Strider will host a free Strider Adventure Zone demo area for young athletes and will debut new 16-inch and 20-inch bikes for use by Special Olympians of all ages. 

Nearly 3,500 Special Olympics athletes from throughout the United States will compete in 16 sports at the games.

"We are very excited to be supporting the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games with our new model launch of Strider 16-inch and 20-inch bikes for riders of all ages," said Ryan McFarland, CEO of Strider Sports International. "Families attending the 2014 USA Games will be able to see firsthand the joy and benefits, both physically and emotionally, that these riders are experiencing by learning to ride."

The games will be held at venues throughout Mercer County, N.J., including Princeton University, Rider University, The College of New Jersey, Mercer County Park and several area private schools.
