IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) — The coupling of a 110-year-old French winter sports brand and a teenaged American bicycle company was a perfect match, said Bill Duehring, president of Felt Bicycle.

LYON, France (BRAIN) — Shimano Europe has announced plans to open a new distribution center here to serve its French and Italian customers. It will be the third distribution center for Shimano in Europe, joining locations in the Netherlands and Poland.

MAJORCA, Spain (BRAIN) — A racer from Little Rock, Arkansas, will join the Canyon/SRAM Women's World Tour team for 2017 after being chosen from about 1,200 women who showed their talent on the Zwift indoor cycling application this year.

TAICHUNG, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Giant Manufacturing announced some historic management changes following a board of directors meeting Friday. Company founder King Liu is retiring as the company's chairman and Tony Lo is retiring as CEO.

TREVIGLIO, Italy (BRAIN) — Bianchi has announced its decision to end UWC's distribution of the Bianchi brand in Thailand.

"Bianchi and UWC market strategies and visions have evolved since they began to work together over 10 years ago and it is the right moment to end their cooperation," Bianchi said.
