North America Cycles to distribute new bike lines in US

Published August 15, 2014

AMES, Iowa (BRAIN) — North America Cycles is now distributing two new bike lines to U.S. retailers. The lines are Viva Bikes, from Denmark, and Strida Folding Bicycles, from Taiwan.

"Each of these brands represents uniqueness in an often cluttered category," said Elizabeth Brink, marketing manager for North America Cycles.

"We are looking for enthusiastic dealers and sales representatives to join our team. "

Viva Bikes is the brainchild of Lars Andersen, a former Danish national team cyclist. Viva blends beauty and function within the lifestyle bicycle category.

Strida is an award-winning folding bicycle first manufactured in the U.K., then in 2007 the brand and intellectual property were purchased by Ming Cycle. Strida Bikes use belt-drive drivetrains with a unique minimalistic design ideal for commuters, urban settings, and recreational vehicle and boat enthusiasts.

Dealers or sales representatives interested in either brand can contact Brink at info@nacycles.com for additional information.
