Todson to offer Italy's MET helmets in the US

Published September 15, 2014

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (BRAIN) — Todson, Inc. is now importing helmets from the Italian brand MET.

MET, based in the Italian Alps, was founded in 1987 but this is the first time the brand has been sold in the U.S. Todson founder Neal Todrys said MET is one of the top three brands in Europe.

"The line is comfortable, stylish, and focused. It offers competitive pricing and we'll be making it easy for shops to test the waters," Todrys said.

Todson will offer 13 models, including mountain, road and active models. Included will be the Parachute, a lightweight full-face helmet suitable for downhill, enduro, and BMX. Todson said a stringent MAP policy will be in place

Todson will have the MET lineup available to ship starting in January. For more information, contact Eric Sakalowsky at erics@todson.com.

The Parachute is said to be the lightest ASTM full face on the market.
