AMES, Iowa (BRAIN) — North America Cycles will handle distribution of Bombtrack Bicycle Company in the U.S. Bombtrack is part of WeMakeThings Co. of Cologne, Germany, which also owns the BMX brand WeThePeople.

“For a while now, we have been looking for a way to feed the constant requests for our bikes in the U.S. We have found a perfect partner in North America Cycles to help us facilitate the demand. Starting right after Interbike, our line of cyclocross, gravel, adventure, endurance, road and track bikes will now be available to American dealers,” said Manuel Schuerholz, CEO of Bombtrack.

North America Cycles distributes bicycles, parts and accessories through the IBD channel. The company imports European brands including M-Wave Accessories, Viva, Lombardo and STRiDA Folding Bikes.

“Bombtrack represents a strong addition to our portfolio with virtually no overlap with our current offerings,” said Matthew Nims, president of North America Cycles. “Bombtrack knows how to market to very savvy cycling demographic and together with our logistical support, we expect this to be a home run. This is a real door opener for us.”
