SANTEE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Ribble, a U.K.-based e-commerce site, is no longer selling Sidi shoes to non-U.K. customers, according to Ciclista America, Sidi's U.S. distributor.
"This is a great victory for Sidi, Ciclista America and everyone associated with the brand. It once again shows Sidi's and Ciclista America's intense commitment to its retailers and distributors," said Ciclista America's president Bill Berroth in an e-mail to U.S. retailers.
"As I am sure you can imagine these efforts are not easy. This one especially has worn us all out," he said.
Berroth is asking U.S. retailers to reply to his email "with a few words as to how Sidi's actions will help your Sidi business. I would like to compile some quotes for Sidi in Italy to pump them up a bit and to show the USA markets thanks to Sidi for their efforts," he said.
