New company to bring Oyama folding bikes to US market for the first time

Line includes a $1,300 folding e-bike and other models starting at $369.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. (BRAIN) —Foldaway Solutions is now bringing Oyama folding bikes to the U.S. for the first time. Oyama, based in China and Taiwan, is a 50 year old brand that has been making folding bikes for about 30 years. The U.S. product line will include seven models, priced from $369 to $1,299.

"Oyama principals saw that the timing was right for their high quality yet reasonably priced bikesand think that their folding eBike at $1,299 retail will gain traction rapidly," the company. The line includes a belt-drive internal gear 7-speed folder that retails for $799, and  a folding flat bar pavement road bike with disc brakes for $899.

Foldaway Solutions is a U.S. business whose owners have more than 40 years in the cycling industry. Foldaway Solutions said it is also introducing a line of high quality accessories that can be private labeled by retailers.
