PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Cyclocross component maker Gevenalle ventures into the world of gravel riding with the new GX dropbar shifter set, compatible with Shimano's newer 10-speed Dyna-sis and Shadow Plus mountain derailleurs and cassettes up to 36T.
The GX uses a customized version of a Microshift lever set on a new larger mount that is compatible with Shimano's 10-speed MTB derailleurs. It's also compatible with most braking systems — including calipers, cantilevers, V-brakes, mini-V, and road or MTB mechanical discs — and can be set up for either long or short pull.
GX shifters carry Gevenalle's no-questions-asked crash warranty, with rebuild or replacement for $34 per unit including U.S. shipping.
