Enve launches all-carbon mountain bike stem

Published March 16, 2015

OGDEN, Utah (BRAIN) — Enve is now shipping its first all-carbon mountain bike stem, designed for trail, enduro and all-mountain use.

The stem was designed to complement the company's mountain handlebars and M-Series wheelsets. It features a full uni-directional carbon fiber body, cold-forged alloy faceplate, and titanium hardware.

It's available in four sizes starting at 40mm and increasing in 15mm increments to 85mm. Weights range from 104 grams for the 85mm stem to 85 grams for the 40mm stem, which Enve claims is the lightest all-mountain stem on the market.

"To say that we are excited to launch this product is an understatement. Of all the products we've launched at Enve, few have been debated and scrutinized as heavily as our new mountain stem. All the debate and focused development has resulted in a mountain bike specific stem that has reset the bar in terms of strength-to-weight performance and ride feel on the trail," said Enve's director of marketing, Jake Pantone.

The Enve Mountain Stem is now shipping to Enve's distributors and retailers worldwide. MSRP is $270.
