Fox's new DPX2 shock is aimed at all-mountain and enduro use

Published June 13, 2017

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Fox's new Float DPX2 combines elements of the brand's Float X2 downhill shock and its Float DPS trail shock. The new DPX2 is a piggyback-style air spring intended for all mountain and enduro use.

It uses a twin-tube damper configuration with independent rebound and compression adjustments. It replaces Fox's Float X model.

Fox said the new shock has an extra volume negatie air spring that creates a more linear spring curve in the initial traavel, improving small bump sensitivity. The design has more tunable bottom-out shock progression.

The new shock will be available in both metric and imperial sizes and retails for $549 USD.
