LEXINGTON, SC (BRAIN)—Hawley Company’s new 2008 catalog was released last week and should now be in the hands of dealers across the country.
“Our dealers have been very anxious for our new catalog and we apologize for not getting it out sooner”, said Dave Carson, director of purchasing for Hawley Company. “In an effort to improve the efficiency of the catalog process, we implemented a new software system. As with all new systems, there is a bit of a learning curve. Next year our dealers can expect to see the catalog much earlier. On the positive side, the new software has made our Web site even more dealer and consumer friendly."
Ten percent larger than last year’s, the new Hawley catalog offers a comprehensive selection of products and vendors.
“Everything from Wald baskets to Campagnolo," said president Steve Hawley.
Hawley Company has also made a concerted effort to stock more small parts from Campagnolo, Shimano and SRAM.
According to Steve Hawley, “We want to make our dealers a hero with their customers."
New vendors for 2008 are Thule, Burley, Lew Racing, Oval, ESI grips, MRP, Nathan, Royal, Challenge, Citra Wipe, Goodridge, Feedback Sports, Sportlegs, Cycrabike, Ciamillo, Brave Soldeir and TSG.
“We carefully select each vendor in our catalog to ensure that they provide maximum sales and profit potential to our dealers,” said Ian Cross, sales manager for Hawley Company. “We then offer product education and sales training for the dealer staff to ensure that the sales and profits are realized. This way the consumer, dealer, distributor and vendor all win”.
