Company to be renamed BRG Sports

VAN NUYS, Calif. (BRAIN) — Easton-Bell Sports, Inc. has agreed to sell its Easton baseball and softball business to Bauer Sports for $330 million, the company announced Thursday. It also said it is close to selling its Easton hockey business to "a third party."

MONTREAL (BRAIN) — Assos has hired Beth Leibo as its central territory manager, the company announced this week. Leibo will manage sales and retailer support in 14 states in the middle of the U.S., from the Dakotas south to Louisiana.

CEDAR PARK, Texas (BRAIN) — Fallbrook Technologies, the manufacturer of NuVinci continuously variable planetary drivetrains, has hired Rick Soberanis as its "chief accelerator of sales and business development" for bike North America. Soberanis started working with Fallbrook's NuVinci bicycle division on Feb. 2.
