OLATHE, Kan. (BRAIN) — Surging fourth-quarter fitness sales — led by activity tracking products — helped Garmin Ltd. offset losses in its automotive/mobile and outdoor divisions to close 2014 with a 6 percent year-over-year gain in quarterly revenue.

This year, Shimano is working with several bike builders to showcase the potential of their new e-bike electric assist system, Shimano Steps.

PASO ROBLES, Calif. (BRAIN) — Tuscany’s famed L’Eroica vintage bike ride will be coming to the United States for the first time this spring.

The L’Eroica event requires participants to use bikes built before 1988; many participants use bikes built prior to World War II and dress in vintage styles as well.

PeopleForBikes organizes fifth fly-in on Capitol Hill

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) – The PeopleForBikes Coalition and several industry executives flew to Washington D.C. last week to meet with members of Congress to discuss the economic benefits of cycling. The visit marked the fifth executive fly-in since the program was launched.
