Xterra Adventures Names Roth President

TRABUCO CANYON, CA (BRAIN)—Xterra Adventures has named Roman Roth as president.

The multi-sport adventure travel company specializes in mountain bike and road bike tours, which combines other activities and cultural experiences to create tours for recreational enthusiasts to hardcore athletes.

Roth has a long and distinguished cycling resume and has spent years at the forefront of the bicycling industry.

Xterra Adventures is pleased to have lured him back to the cycling world. “I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to spearhead such an exciting company as Xterra Adventures. I look forward to carving a new path for adventure tours and getting the chance to put to use my vast array of skills and experience in the cycling industry. Xterra Adventures is the tour company I would want to ride with and I am excited about this new challenge," he said.

Roth started his career as a professional BMX racer competing for Free Agent. Later he transitioned to become a category one road bike racer devouring the competition, collecting titles, and eventually becoming WCC Criterium Champion. He finished the last three years of his racing career as a mountain bike professional on the N.O.R.B.A. and World Cup circuit.

In addition to racing, Roth has worked throughout the bicycle industry from shop owner and manager to performing product development and testing for some of the biggest brands in the sport.
