Published December 14, 2007

CHICAGO, IL (BRAIN)—Paul Damato has been hired to SRAM’s Marketing and Communication Department as its new North American technical marketing specialist for road products.

Damato will work out of SRAM’s Chicago-based headquarters and serve as a team liaison and expert technician. Additionally, he will serve as an internal and external product educator for audiences ranging from OEM’s to end users.

Damato, a Chicago native, comes directly from SRAM’s Dealer Service Department where he spent the past year managing dealer inquiries. He also brings more than 13 years of shop experience in Chicago and Boulder, CO, to the position.

“The opportunity to work with our professional athletes, travel and help communicate the SRAM road message is a fantastic one,” Damato said. “From establishing a solid foothold with domestic road and ‘cross athletes, to our growth at the ProTour level and international triathlon, it’s a super exciting time for SRAM.”

“Paul’s demonstrated a solid work ethic in his work with dealers, and has the right mix of talent to help us maintain a world class standard of product and partnership support,” said SRAM’s sponsorship manager Alex Wassmann.
