Satellite Sports Group Acquires BMX Team

Published February 20, 2008

NORCO, CA (BRAIN)—Satellite Sports Group (SSG), prominent in offering BMX stunt shows to professional sporting events, state fairs, community festivals and corporate functions, is merging with Perfection on Wheels (POW), the BMX Stunt Show focusing on school assemblies, community safety fairs and fundraising.

With virtually no market overlap, this partnership will enable the combined entity to provide the same top-quality BMX stunt shows to clients nationwide while reducing duplicate costs.

“We see our companies as perfect complements to one another,” said Dennis Langalis, owner of POW. “Careful consideration went into this deal, but when two companies line up as well as these do, working out the details was easy.”

“The merger of these two well respected BMX Stunt teams makes perfect sense,” said Woody Itson, owner of SSG. “We take pride in our outstanding reputation and are committed to providing our clients with an exceptional experience.”

The combined strength of these two teams with the aid of Satellite's superior Web-based scheduling system will allow Satellite Sports Group to perform over 1000 shows per year, covering an average of 35 states annually.

Day-to-day operations, including all aspects of the shows and team riders, will be controlled by Itson, while the staff at POW will handle marketing and scheduling.
