RAMONA, CA (BRAIN)— Ellsworth Handcrafted Bicycles, Inc. has hired David Woronets as operations manager.

Effective June 16, Woronets will oversee Ellsworth's frame building operations in the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area.

"Dave is a trusted friend with solid skills and a soulful desire to make a difference in the world one frame at a time with me," said Tony Ellsworth, founder, president and chief executive officer of Ellsworth Handcrafted Bicycles, Inc.

"His abilities and our shared vision will make a great difference as we continue to refine our US-based frame making abilities."

Woronets has been immersed in the bike world for more than 20 years, both professionally—working for various bike manufactures—and personally as a professional rider.

His passion for biking sprouted a career as a professional rider sponsored by Ellsworth from 1996 through 2002.

Woronets was featured in Mountain Bike Action, as well as various biking films, and worked for Ellsworth as event coordinator and demo fleet manager in 2000.

Woronets' understanding of the multi-faceted bike industry and his experience in the industry, most recently in manufacturing and operations, will serve Ellsworth and its retailers well.

His wife, Jen and their two boxers join Woronets in his move to the Pacific Northwest.

The couple is in the planning stages of building a sustainable, energy efficient home. Woronets was instrumental in the construction of Ellsworth's
Southern California headquarters.

"It's not often you get to work with good friends doing the things you love in a location like this. I look forward to cultivating amazing bikes with Tony and the Ellsworth crew. Life is Good," Woronets said.
