Published August 25, 2009

CAMPBELL, CA (BRAIN)—X-Fusion has hired Anthony Trujillo as its new engineering and product manager.

Trujillo joins the X-Fusion Team with more than 11 years of suspension component engineering experience. Having spent more than nine years at Fox Racing Shox, he brought to market such products as the Float RL, Remote Lock Out, AVA, Specialized Itch, Talas, first generation Propedal, DHX, DHX Air, and Van R rear shocks, as well as various custom products, designs and general improvements to all products. He also represented Fox on the World Cup and U.S. National Circuits from 2000-2006, tuning for pros and developing product. Later, he joined the Specialized Suspension Team where he helped build the Suspension Program and designed the innovative Epic micro-Brain shock, as well as made design and quality improvements to existing Specialized brand Stumpjumper and Enduro rear shocks.

“I could not be more excited about this new opportunity at X-Fusion," Trujillo said. "For where I am at in my career and where X-Fusion is at as a mountain bike suspension design and manufacturing company, I could not think of a better time to join the Team. I have been working with the X-Fusion factory since around ’01 and have seen them grow to a company that should have global OEMs, dealers and end users reconsider who the big hitters are in the suspension world. If they haven’t already, they soon will.”

In his new role, Trujillo will not only be overseeing all designs and engineering of the products, but will also be greatly involved in all aspects of the company in his product manager role.

“I’ve been riding two wheels with knobbies on dirt since ’76 and actually started racing BMX in ’77, thanks to my older brothers," Trujillo said. "I live and breathe bikes on dirt and mountain bike suspension and can’t wait to bring all my experience to the X-Fusion Team.”

"With Trujillo aboard the team the sky is the limit and X-Fusion will continue to innovate and design top of the line suspension available to the general consumer and OEMs," said John Hauer, U.S. marketing manager for X-Fusion. "He will also be working closely with the X-Fusion sponsored athletes for track side R & D and to ensure they have the best advantage for every type of riding. The future is bright here at X-Fusion and we are excited to have Anthony as a member of our team."
