Rocky Mountain Hires Marketing Manager

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Rocky Mountain Bicycles has hired Pete Roggeman for the position of marketing manager. Roggeman comes to Rocky Mountain with a wealth of bicycle industry experience, having worked both in Europe and North America.

“Pete’s a rider, first and foremost. He understands our brand and knows the industry," said Charles Russell, Rocky Mountain’s director of sales, marketing. “Pete’s intimate knowledge of the European market in addition to his strong mountain bike roots in B.C. makes him a valuable addition to Rocky Mountain. We’re looking forward to his contribution to our marketing efforts worldwide.”

“Since I started cycling, I’ve always admired Rocky Mountain. Joining the talented people there and getting the chance to help steer this iconic brand is an honor for me and I’m really looking forward to getting my hands dirty—not to mention my legs,” Roggeman said. “Recent initiatives and forthcoming R&D innovations have poised Rocky to continue to add to its impressive legacy; I’m excited to be a part of this commitment to building some of the best bikes in the industry.”

Roggeman will be based at Rocky Mountain’s Vancouver, B.C. office and will be responsible for all of Rocky Mountains global marketing initiatives.
