Hincapie Hires Mahler as Sales Rep

Published January 31, 2010

GREENVILLE, SC (BRAIN)—Hincapie Sportswear has hired Will Mahler as retail sales representatives for the brand in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Mahler now represents Hincapie for retail cycling apparel and accessory sales to independent bicycle dealers and sell Hincapie custom cycling clothing to clubs and teams in his territory.

“Will makes a great addition to our sales team,” said Rich Hincapie, president of Hincapie Sportswear. “We are really concentrating on growing our retail distribution this year and Will is a big part of that expansion. He has great relationships with many of his area’s top dealers, so there is great growth potential for our brand.”

Mahler will draw on his vast outdoor retailing experience to help him introduce dealers in the Northeast to the Hincapie brand. He spent 15 years in retail management before becoming the Mid-Atlantic sales representative for Bianchi Bicycles. Mahler has successfully grown the Bianchi brand in his territory since joining them in 2008. He will continue to represent both Hincapie Sportswear and Bianchi Bicycles.

“I'm extremely excited to be part of the Hincapie Sportswear family,” Mahler said. “The products they offer the discerning cyclists are leaps beyond the other brands I've sold in my retail days. Hincapie Sportswear will give my retailers and their customers the cache' they need, the quality fit they deserve, and the image they demand while cycling. I've sold ski outerwear for 15 years and our Fall/Winter apparel is on par with the big names in snow sports regarding water repellency, wind blockage and seam/stitching technology.”

Dealers in PA, MD, VA and DC are encouraged to contact Will Mahler directly at (717)-669-9686 or wmahler@hincapiesports.com.
