Published May 25, 2010

NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA (BRAIN)—Topeak has hired Eddie O'Dea as its U.S. in-market representative.

With many years spent in bike retail, race promotion and road and mountain bike racing, O'Dea is intimately familiar with the workings of the industry, according to a press release. He will be responsible for increasing Topeak's presence to the IBD with retailer visits and clinics, attending key cycling races and events across the country and as a link to the cycling public with his social media contributions. All of this along with a full race schedule as an elite endurance racer for the Topeak-Ergon Team.

"The Topeak accessory line features a multitude of products with proprietary innovations. With Eddie's retail and race experience and his passion for cycling he is a natural choice to represent the Topeak brand and help educate dealers and consumers about the benefits of our cycling products," said Louis Chuang, president of Topeak.
