CORTEZ, CO (BRAIN)—Osprey Packs has hired Jeff Fox to the newly formed position of bike marketing manager. This news comes on the heels of the recently announced expansion of the Osprey sales force to service the IBD channel.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jeff to the Osprey team,” said Gareth Martins, marketing director of Osprey, in a press release. “Jeff brings a wealth of experience in consumer and trade events, marketing and public relations. He will be a key player in the growth strategy we have in place for the bike channel.”

Previous to joining Osprey, Fox served as sales and marketing manager for Tuffy Security Products for the past 15 years. Fox is a passionate outdoor recreationist and competes on a national level in mountain bike racing as well as serving as an active member of Kokopelli Bike Club on the local level. Fox's official start date is tomorrow.

"This is a great opportunity to work with a brilliant, fun and dedicated team while marketing a terrific product line that I really believe in,” Fox said. “My plan is to hit the ground running. I look forward to applying my knowledge, experience and passion for the bike industry to grow the Osprey brand in the bike channel."
