BOULDER, CO (BRAIN)—Catalyst Communication, a custom publishing and direct mail company for cycling, snowsports and the outdoor industries, and the owner of SuperSale, has hired Chris Dinneen as a new sales and account manager.

Dinneen comes to Catalyst after 10 years at VeloGear, where he was the general manager. He oversaw all retail and e-commerce projects, including e-mail marketing, the VeloGear catalog production, purchasing and inventory control, list management and ROI analysis.

At Catalyst Communication, Dinneen will be working with Jason Giguere to work with IBD accounts in the Western U.S., Mid-Atlantic and Texas.

"As the former G.M. for VeloGear, Chris brings a unique set of skills and experience to Catalyst,” said Jay Thomas, co-owner of Midwest Cycling and VeloGear. “I expect him to build solid relationships with retailers because he understands what they need and how to execute print and electronic marketing. He has the experience to ensure that his clients' communication conveys the best information about the shop, and, most of all, deliver a superb return on investment. Catalyst will continue to thrive with Chris on board."

Dinneen moved to Boulder 15 years ago from the east coast. In the summer he can be found riding his road bike, mountain biking, and participating in the occasional triathlon. He recently completed the inaugural Centurion Colorado century, and is signed up for the Imogene Pass Run. In the winter you can find him dropping a knee all over the mountains of Colorado.
