IntraWerks Launches Repatron

SARASOTA, FL (BRAIN)—On the eve of Interbike 2010, IntraWerks, Inc. has officially launched their Repatron offering, an innovative Independent Rep/Sales Agency Web Service for the cycling industry harnessing the power of Google Technology.

After several service upgrades and an initial silent launch, IntraWerks has developed a world-class Sales Agency Web Service to make it easy and affordable for sales agencies and independent reps in the cycling industry to professionally present themselves and their service offerings to manufacturers but even more importantly, better support their retailer partners.

“This truly was an accidental product,” said Peter Pawlus, president of IntraWerks, Inc., an Ex-Google company located in Sarasota, FL. “The idea was born out of a chance meeting we had with Bill Kendall at Interbike 2009. At IntraWerks, we’re all hard core cyclists, some with bicycle retail backgrounds, so we thought it would be great to invest in a bike retail studio sharing space with our software studio. A little coding, a bunch of cycling, etc. While we were shopping at Interbike 2009 for bike products for the cycling studio, we met Bill from Kendall Outdoors. At the time, he had an old comcast.net email and no Web site for his sales agency, so we gave him some quick Google get it going advice, and went back to looking for bike products. Three months later, Bill gave us a call asking for help in putting all the pieces together for his dealer support website using Google services...and Repatron was born. While I worked at Google, I learned that any web service needs to be affordable, fast, dependable and easy to use/update. Using the Google technology that is available today and down the line...we can meet that need.”

Every rep that has walked through the door at the bike studio to sell them bike product has signed up for the Repatron service. They're quickly approaching several dozen sales agencies and it has been entirely word of mouth (rep to rep). The Repatron service has also been improved and enhanced based on how reps are using it and how they want to support their dealers. With few exceptions, everything has been included in the Repatron offering. Several agencies have announced their new Repatron dealer support / branding Web sites at OR and EORA events so we thought it would be good to announce the general availability of the Repatron service offering on the eve of Interbike 2010.

All the sites include a fully interactive branded Web site that allows valuable back office support to retailers as well as information about your agency geared to current and future desired brands. Repatron’s secure dealer only access and dealer resources section allows dealers to download the latest brand-specific price sheets, order forms, sales sheets, product specs and lifestyle images specific to the brands they are authorized to sell by the rep. This saves both the rep and dealer valuable time. The Repatron service is currently available for an introductory price of $610 for single rep agencies with no long term contracts.
