Published December 10, 2010

NORTH VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Ryders Eyewear has added Moxie Northwest to its sales team.

Moxie Northwest is led by managing partner and owner Laura Moen, according to a press release. Moen and her team will focus on expanding Ryders’ presence in the bike, run and outdoor cultures in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Alaska. Team members include associates Kurt Messersmith and Justin Hamborsky and ambassadors Ryan Vanderloop and Ian Jackson.

“Laura’s team is extremely dedicated, driven, and respected in the region,” said national sales manager Gareth Richards. “We are proud to have them on the team and are looking forward to launching into 2011 with gusto.”

Moen took over Moxie Northwest in 2009, after spending almost 13 years on the retail, product management and sales side of the bike industry.

“Our mission statement is ‘to support and service customers by providing professional consultation, education, and insight to their region and products they are selling.’” said Moen.

In addition to working on Ryders Eyewear, Moxie Northwest will continue to represent CEP Compression, Drymax/Hickory Brands, Focus, Green Guru, Marin, Pearl Izumi, Run and Swagman Racks.
