SRAM Promotes West to Aftermarket Position

CHICAGO, IL (BRAIN)—SRAM has promoted Jason West to vice president of retail sales and aftermarket product, and will be part of the SRAM senior management team.

This move was made to better serve aftermarket customers and leverage resources to broaden SRAM's aftermarket product line, according to a press release.

West began his career with SRAM in 1996 as quality manager of the SRAM Chicago factory. He has worked very effectively in many capacities since then including factory manager, product team leader, leading the RockShox integration, and was most recently category manager of suspension. West will integrate immediately on to the senior management
team and transition to the role over the next several months.

John Nedeau will continue as vice president sales and customer service responsible for all bike brand and OEM business. Mike Mercuri will continue as vice president of product and marketing, and Tim Smith will continue as vice president engineering and design.
