Primal Wear, Sea Otter Supporting Military

Published April 5, 2011

DENVER, CO (BRAIN)—Cycling apparel-maker Primal Wear has teamed up with the Sea Otter Classic to support the Semper Fi Fund, an organization dedicated to providing financial support to injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.

Anyone making a donation of $100 or more to the fund via Sea Otter's donation website by April 17 will receive a commemorative Semper Fi Fund jersey (pictured) designed and manufactured by Primal. One hundred percent of the donation goes directly to the Semper Fi Fund.

"Primal has always enjoyed a strong relationship with service members through our military-branded products," said Primal founder and CEO Dave Edwards. "We jumped at this opportunity to give back to those who are willing to give up everything for their country."

The Semper Fi Fund directs urgently needed resources to Marines and Sailors, as well as members of the Army, Air Force or Coast Guard who serve in support of Marine forces. The Semper Fi Fund provides relief for financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as assistance for those with perpetuating needs.

The term "Semper Fi" is the shortened version of the U.S. Marine Corps' motto - Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful).
