SR Suntour NA Adds New Distributors

Published June 9, 2011

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN)—For the 2011 selling season SR Suntour has added a number of new aftermarket distributors in order to better serve North American dealers.

Joining existing distributors, Seattle Bike Supply and Lexco, new distributors for the 2011 season include; Quality Bicycle Products, KHS, DownEast, BTI, J&B Importers and Cyclone. In addition to these U.S based distributors; Norco has been added to serve SR Suntour’s aftermarket sales needs in Canada.

Dealers and consumers now have access to many of the products that in the past have only been available to OEM bicycle brands. Even though SR Suntour is best known for its high volume, value oriented products, SR Suntour North America is not only stocking these products but is also stocking its high performance suspensions products for street, cross country, trail, all-mountain and freeride.

In addition to expanding its aftermarket distribution, the company recently revamped its Warranty Service Center by moving into a new and expanded facility just up the road from the location it has operated from for the past 10 years in Vancouver, Washington. As the largest suspension supplier in the bicycle industry, SR Suntour sells over six million of its forks, as well as a similar number of cranksets per year. "With this type of volume it is essential that we offer dealers and consumers fast, friendly and efficient service. It is this commitment to after-sales service that has, in part, given bicycle brands and product managers the confidence to specify our products on many of their most important models," said Shawn Hamilton, SR Suntour’s operations manager.

Dealers can call 360-737-6450 or e-mail service@srsuntourna.com for their small parts, warranty or service needs. Aftermarket sales inquiries should be directed to the company’s sales office at 425-354 4965 or e-mail ssna@srsuntourna.com .
