Giant's Dennis Lane Leaving Company

Published September 25, 2011

NEWBURY PARK, CA (BRAIN)—Giant global director of product development Dennis Lane has decided to leave the company at the end of September.

Over the last 15 years Lane has helped Giant achieve tremendous global growth, especially in the performance categories. Working with Giant’s engineers, athletes, teams and designers, Lane helped Giant develop new products that were successful at the races and in the market.

“Dennis has had a positive influence on the Giant brand the past 15 years,” said Giant CEO Tony Lo. “We thank him for his service and wish him the best of luck in his future career direction.”

With the departure of Lane, Giant will reorganize its product development team to be aligned under one umbrella that includes engineers, product developers, industrial designers and graphic designers. This new structure will create a cohesive, forward-thinking design and development team and optimize its talent in North America, Europe and Asia to bring market-leading products to life.
