Norco Teams with SmartEtailing for Sync

Published September 29, 2011

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Norco Products has teamed with SmartEtailing to launch Norco Sync, where retailers get a broader inventory for their online consumers using Norco's warehouses.

Trek and QBP have already teamed with SmartEtailing and are doing similar ventures.

"By teaming up with SmartEtailing we are now able to provide our IBDs with state-of-the-art technology to compete profitably in the online channel," said John Williams, president of Norco. "Through their own online stores, IBDs can display our full inventory along with their own and blend stock status within models to show not only what's immediately available but also what they can quickly obtain. Participating retailers will also have access to our inventory for store-branded shipments direct to consumers and to their stores in order to increase consumer satisfaction and reduce their need to shop beyond their local stores. For consumers it will look like the store has greatly expanded its inventory."
