Correia launches adventure touring company

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (BRAIN) Feb 13, 10:23 MT—Former professional cyclist João Correia and two partners have launched inGamba, a new adventure touring company.

“We created inGamba after years of organizing events for friends that were exactly the kind of trips we wanted to take ourselves,” said former Cervélo TestTeam rider Correia. “On an inGamba trip, you’re likely to be riding next to a world champion or other top professional taking a break from racing’s biggest events. And, we don’t just roll through a town — we get into the fabric of the community, using our knowledge and connections to cultivate a unique travel experience. Our guests can relish the cuisine, the culture, and especially the wine as only a local can.”

inGamba will host 22 trips in 2012 in North America and Europe, starting in April with The Spring Classics.
