Scott Sports hires Sibly for Eastern field marketing • ENVE Composites launches all-carbon downhill rim • USA Cycling releases American Mountain Bike Challenge schedule • DT Swiss makes Vancouver's Suspension Werx a factory-authorized suspension center • Fox promotes new engineering manager • Fyxation releases road/commuter tire

SUN VALLEY, ID (BRAIN) Feb 16, 18:17 MT — Scott Sports has appointed Nathan Sibly to handle Eastern Field Marketing.

Sibly has 20 years' experience in the bike industry.

“I’m excited to start with Scott,” said Sibly. “I’ve spent years working in bike retail and racing at the elite level in both road and mountain. I hope to share with the Scott retailers and potential buyers my experience with this first-class product.”

Sibly covers the eastern half of the U.S. while Mark Vandiver covers the western region.

“This field marketing program is meant to be a year-round educational and demonstration platform with outreach targeted toward our current dealers and regions where we want to grow,” said Scott's Adrian Montgomery. “Ideally we will continue to grow the program, adding new marketers in the future. We have flexible set ups that are carried in a Sprinter van, giving us the ability to adapt the expo for multiple settings and we can be in more places across the country on the same weekend when compared to a large truck and trailer set up.”
