Published April 25, 2012

CLOPPENBURG, Germany (BRAIN) Wednesday April 25 2012 11:48 AM MT—Derby Cycle AG's chief financial officer Uwe Bögershausen is stepping down May 31 and will be replaced by Reiner Brüls. Brüls was most recently CFO of J. Müller AG, Brake.

Derby said Bögershausen is leaving the company at "his own request" for personal reasons.

"Derby Cycle AG has experienced many changes following its successful initial public offering in February 2011, and the arrival of Pon as a new major shareholder shortly thereafter," said Xeno Grimmelt, the company's board chairman. "Mr. Bögershausen successfully helped to shape this period of change, and was a driving force behind the company's capital market orientation and the implementation of its acquisition strategy."
