SRAM offers Chain Watcher for aftermarket • Las Vegas Gran Fondo announces hotel partners • Selle Italia launches TV and Internet ad campaign

CHICAGO, IL (BRAIN) Friday May 4 2012 10:33 AM MT—SRAM's front derailleur Chain Watcher, which comes standard on the company's new Red derailleurs, will be offered in the aftermarket as well, the company announced.

The aftermarket spotter is compatible with SRAM's Red, Force, Rival and Apex braze-on front derailleurs. A clamp-on band also will be available for frames without front derailleur braze-ons.

The spotter's mounting bolt threads into the mounting bolt so the front derailleur doesn't have to be readjusted after installing the spotter. The spotter weighs 12 grams and will retail for $32. It will be available June 1.
