Primal renews with Tour de Cure

Published January 17, 2013

DENVER, CO (BRAIN) — Clothing maker Primal is continuing its support of the American Diabetes Association and Tour de Cure on the national and state level.

The company is now one of the ADA's four national sponsors, joining Gold's Gym, Lilly Diabetes and BeeWell for Life. The company is also supporting the ADA directly through Primal's Give Back Program, which gives 15 percent of each Tour de Cure team's custom apparel order back to the association.

In Colorado, Primal is returning as the presenting sponsor of the Tour de Cure Colorado for the second year.

"Our relationship with the Tour de Cure stretches back to 2005 and it remains one of our most important and valued connections," said Primal founder Dave Edwards.

"Not only are these world-class cycling events that encourage thousands of people each year to discover the joy of cycling, but the research and work the ADA does is instrumental in improving the condition of millions of people who suffer from diabetes everyday."

There are more than 80 Tour de Cure events around the country. More information: tour.diabetes.org.
