Retail group to present store data at IBD Summit

Published March 14, 2013
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN) — A dealer favorite presentation will be back at this year's IBD Summit, with some added punch this time.

The National Bicycle Dealers Association's P2 dealer presentation examines key performance metrics from some of the country's top shops. This year's presentation of the P2 data is expected to delve deeper into the data and also show attendees how their stores stack up against top shops and the rest of the industry.

The presentation will be part of the IBD Summit held April 16-19, in Monterey, California.

“So many retailers, like me, think we’re doing great, but in all honesty we really don’t know how we stack up against others or the industry for that matter,” said Mike Hamannwright, owner of Revolution Cycles in Washington D.C. “This session promises to be great because we will give real-life examples from our own businesses on how to improve key areas in everyone’s businesses.

Hamannwright will join Chris Kegel of Milwaukee's Wheel and Sprocket, Charlie McCorkell of New York City's Bicycle Habitat and Chris Holmes of Houston's Bicycle World & Fitness to make the presentation.

Discounted Summit registration of $595 is still available until March 29th. After that date costs go to $695.

As an incentive to all IBD Summit-attending retailers, Interbike will be giving one VIP card per store with hundreds of dollars of free and discounted benefits at Interbike 2013 – including free food on the show floor, VIP access to select Interbike events and more.
