Banjo Brothers adds Buy Local Now

Published May 1, 2013

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — Bike accessories brand Banjo Brothers is the latest to add SmartEtailing’s Buy Local Now technology to its website.

Consumers can now see which local retailers have the company's backpacks, panniers, bags and other products in stock.

Every product on the Banjo Brothers website now comes with a Buy Local Now button, which pops up an online map showing local bike shops that actively stock that product or have it available “in warehouse” via Banjo Brothers' distributors. Non-participating stores are also shown, but without the stock indicators. Once a retailer is selected, Buy Local Now takes the consumer either directly to that product's page on the retailer’s website, or to the retailer's home page.

Banjo Brothers is the 15th brand to go live with the Buy Local Now referral service. Since its launch at Interbike last year, Buy Local Now has generated more than 170,000 consumer referrals and delivered more than $1 million in estimated sales for local bike shops.
