Published November 14, 2013

PORTLAND, OR (BRAIN) — Friends and supporters of Portland framebuilder Christopher Igleheart are planning an event to help Iglebeart with medical bills resulting from a broken leg. Igleheart was hit by a car while riding his bike home recently.

The fundraiser will be held Nov. 22 at the Rapha U.S. headquarters. More than 35 companies and individuals are offering donations for the event for raffles and silent auctions. There will be a $20 entry fee that will give access to refreshments and one free raffle ticket.

The raffle ticket is for a drawing for prizes that include a Breadwinner Cycles custom Continental frame and fork, valued at $2,095; a Swobo Folsom and apparel kit, valued at $1,002; and a Velocity Major Tom Comp wheel set, valued at $650.

For those unable to attend the event, 150 tickets are available at www.swobo.com/igleheart. All entries will be announced on Friday, Nov. 22, and there is no limit to online ticket purchases. Additional donations are welcome at www.iheartigle.org.

The event opens at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Rapha headquarters at 1915 NW Kearney in Portland.
