Lew takes on marketing at Reynolds; Aguero shifts role

Published April 2, 2014

SANDY, Utah (BRAIN) — Carbon fiber and aerodynamics expert Paul Lew will oversee U.S. and overseas marketing for Reynolds Cycling as sales and marketing manager Rob Aguero shifts his focus exclusively on sales. Reynolds said the move was prompted in part by growth in key accounts and OEM business. Aguero’s new title is key account and OEM sales manager.

“It's been a really fun challenge to manage both sales and marketing, but sales is where I got my start in this industry and that’s where I want to concentrate my focus,” said Aguero. “We’ve had a lot of sales growth, so it’s time for a dedicated resource. Paul is going to be awesome in marketing. He’s been in this business twice as long as I have, and he really understands it.”

Aguero and Lew will work together during a transition period, after which time Lew will assume sole responsibility for branding, marketing and communications. As senior technology founder of Reynolds, Lew will also continue to oversee product development and testing.

“Rob has done a great job and he’ll still work with me on current and future projects,” said Lew. “And since my passion is product and brand innovation, I’m planning big things for Reynolds. I am proud to be guiding this brand and continuing its 125-year heritage in cycling.”
