CHICAGO (BRAIN) — Todd Schmidt is joining SRAM's Road Marketing Communication team as a brand manager for SRAM and Quarq, the company announced this week.
Schmidt joins SRAM after 10 years at QBP in sales management and account services. Previously, Schmidt worked at the Wheel & Sprocket bike shop as he earned a degree in kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin.
“Todd adds a host of skills that will enable SRAM to more effectively bring road products to the market,” said Christopher Zigmont, SRAM's brand director for road products. “With his industry, shop and cycling experience, Todd understands the landscape, how to communicate innovations, and what's important for customers to know. With so many great products in the pipeline, the timing of Todd’s arrival couldn’t be better.”
