CatEye sponsoring time checks at USPC time trial stage

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — CatEye America is sponsoring the U.S. Pro Challenge stage race in Colorado later this month, marking the brand's first time sponsoring the event being held near its U.S. base in Boulder. The sponsorship also marks CatEye's return to sponsorship of pro road racing events. CatEye will be the official Time Check sponsor at the USPC's Vail Time Trial stage. CatEye also is the official computer sponsor of the Jelly Belly/Maxxis Pro Cycling Team, which is competing in the race.

"CatEye is thrilled to be back at the highest level of the sport," said Jeff Wilbur, vice president of operations for CatEye America. "We're proud to have America's premier stage race right in our backyard with one of the best teams in the peloton putting our products to the test."

During coverage of the time trial stage, television commentators will note that the stage's time checks are "brought to you by CatEye." A CatEye representative said the agreement was attractive because the race ties together elite pro cycling and the many recreational cyclists who enjoy following the event in person and on TV.
