Published December 29, 2014

CHICAGO (BRAIN) — Range Light, a Chicago investment firm, has launched a new program to invest in healthy, active lifestyle businesses.

The new program is called Range Light Active and  is looking to partner with three to five businesses in the active lifestyle industry and invest up to $20 million per business.

Range Light was founded in 2012 by Erich Tengelsen, Steve Groya and Tao Huang.  "Our primary motivation with Range Light Active is to help and inspire people to live and experience a healthy, active lifestyle," said Tengelsen. "We are looking forward to using our capital and experience as a resource for business owners in this industry."

The company said its partners "are patient investors who invest their own personal capital alongside like-minded business owners that share the same values-driven mindset in building business with an eye towards sustainability and long-term growth, not simply just short-term profits."
