Company will now forbid advertising its products at below MSRP.

MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — Saris Cycling Group, the parent company for Saris Racks and CycleOps, has changed its minimum advertised price policy. Effective Feb. 1, 2015, the MAP policy will prohibit advertising at below MSRP on Saris and CycleOps products.

"Our MAP policy is designed to support our dealers," said director of sales, Mike Blang. "We have built our business through collaboration with independent bicycle retailers. IBD's continue to be at the core our company's success, and we will continue to do what we can to support their success as well."

Retailers can continue to sell products in-store at their chosen price but Saris or CycleOps products listed online must adhere to the company's stated minimum advertised price. Saris will enforce this policy through internet retailers including  Amazon and eBay.

The policy can be found on the Saris website
