CatEye announces upgraded Volt light series

Published October 16, 2015

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — To coincide with the fall lighting season, CatEye America has announced an upgraded Volt series of USB-rechargeable headlights. All models in the Volt line receive substantial lumen increases, with marginal or no price increases to the models they replace.

New models include the trail ready Volt1600, after hours training partner Volt800, commuter companion Volt400 and urban/campus favorite Volt200.

The Volt1600 is CatEye's brightest self-contained headlight with a true 1600 lumen output and five modes that allow for runtimes from 2 to 100 hours. The Volt800 and Volt400 feature on-the-fly replaceable cartridge batteries and optional fast-charging cradles, and are great on both handlebars and helmets. The Volt200 is designed for affordable, rechargeable safety with side visibility.

For a limited time, the original Volt1200, Volt700, Volt300 and Volt100 models will continue to be available off MAP pricing, giving retailers opportunities to supplement the new lineup.
