Published April 6, 2016

NEWPORT, Vt. (BRAIN) — Louis Garneau USA has signed the Stoner-Andrews Agency to represent the brand in New England and industry veteran Ron Lauber to support its Northern California and Northern Nevada dealers.

With the increased coverage, Garneau now has a total of 26 reps in the U.S.

Established in 1987, Stoner-Andrews has more than 30 years of experience in New England's outdoor industry. Longtime business partners and friends, Rick Stoner and Scott Andrews are at the helm along with Scott Byrne, Jason Giroux, Michael Dirhammer, Adam Sullivan and Allison Frazier as reps. Stoner-Andrews is based in Shelburne, Vermont, and covers the New England states.

Ron Lauber comes to the Garneau sales team with more than 20 years of sales experience.

"We are fortunate to add such seasoned representation to the Garneau sales force. As we prepare to launch the Summer 2017 collection we believe this level of talent will be instrumental in our efforts to serve and support the IBD network going forward," said the brand's U.S. sales director, David Cathcart.

"We currently have one of the strongest sales forces in the history of Garneau, a history that goes all the way back to the late 80's when we first entered the U.S. market," he said.

Garneau also has redefined some sales territories. James Knight, a 10-year Louis Garneau veteran, will now cover Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and Missouri while Tom Mantle will cover the Mid-Atlantic states, Pennsylvania and Upstate New York (excluding New York City). Longtime Garneau rep Travis McMaster will now add Southern California to his Arizona territory. Finally Rick Bartels has joined the Mountainview Cycling sales team in the Carolinas.
