NEWBURY PARK, Calif. (BRAIN) — More than 100 Giant retailers saw Giant's new model year 2017 bicycles and gear from the Giant, Liv, and Momentum brands at Giant's annual meeting with its key retailers here this week. Besides the new gear, Giant showed off its recently redesigned headquarters in two dealer sessions last week.

The new office includes a 5,000-square foot showroom and a 2,000-square foot education center, demo center, locker rooms, and gym.

Giant calls the dealer sessions "The Link." Besides the sessions at the headquarters, the company takes the Link on the road with one-, two-, and three-day sessions and demos at seven locations around the country this summer.

Through the rest of July and into early August, Giant and Liv staff are meeting with retailers in Dallas, Atlanta, Denver, Chicago, Portland, and at the brand's newly remodeled showroom inside the Giant distribution facility in Cranbury, New Jersey.

"We're reaching out to touch as many retail people as possible; our vision is to bring the products, energy, passion, Giant people and benefits to our retailers," said John 'JT' Thompson, the general manager of Giant USA. "At smaller events, we can spend more quality time with retail employees. They're able to demo our latest bikes, feel our energy, and improve their understanding of how our brand can help them make more money, while delivering dream experiences at every price level. Our road show locations were chosen to be a drivable distance for 85 percent of our retail network."
